Average at best. - Terrible if you grew up with Star Wars.
Visually it's great. We get good fan service and it does wrap up the story. I think that Abrams gave a good effort after TLJ destroyed the flow of the trilogy but I suspect that there were too many folks at Disney looking over his shoulder tinkering with the story.
Its feels like a trilogy in and of itself but one that ran out of time to tell us everything it wanted to. If you're aware of the fact that there were reshoots and editing changes up to about 6 weeks before release, if you pay attention, it's easy to spot them. The story feels rushed and unfinished. It is sloppy and missed out on its potential.
