As a fan of the original work, Omniscient Reader: The Prophet live action was a huge disappointment. I give it a 1 out of 10 because it completely strays from the spirit of the novel and webtoon, and fails even at the basics of a proper adaptation. The storytelling is poorly constructed, the characters lack depth, and many key moments were either changed beyond recognition or left out entirely. The acting felt forced, the visual effects were subpar, and the essence of the main character—so vital to connecting with the story—was watered down until it became unrecognizable. It doesn't feel like a tribute, but rather a shallow version that clearly doesn't understand the source material.

The program is good and it is entertaining, although it is a bit sad, it is good.
