So I watched the trailer and by judging it, I thought the movie was going to be awesome too. Honestly I didn't quite get the anything. The plot is okay you know a boy who doesn't have enough money to go to the college of his dreams tries to make money by pretending to date girls and then realises that he's a liar and a 'self-absorbed prick' and etc etc.
I might be missing something but I really don't get why his best friend Murph got mad at him. He was the one who encouraged him by making that app and whatnot. Also, Bricks imo tried his best to spend time with Murph and when they were ready to go to that zombie thing, Murph himself insisted Bricks to go for his service because he got a request.
I just don't get it??
Also, I didn't understand why Celia started becoming distant with Bricks after their mutually planned 'fake breakup'.
Thirdly, they make such a big deal about Bricks lying to the dean about his bee keeping hobby. I mean okay he lied but does it matter? What does bee keeping even have anything to do with Yale anyway? It was so unrealistic and boring.
Overall it was an okay movie i wouldn't really recommend anyone to watch it
