The number one problem was the acting. The cast was stiff, disjointed, and unrelatable, making it impossible for me to care about the characters. The plot was similarly all over the place. It didn't make sense, not just some glaring plot holes, but also the film couldn't decide what genre it was in. It felt like a bad teen supernatural drama soap that was trying too hard. I knew it would be bad because they only get the actors to hype a film in the trailer when the movie can't carry its own weight, but I didn't expect it to be -that- bad. Adding to this movie's failure was it's lack of a memorable score. Usually, marvel films have decent music. This one flopped in that department too. Really... it flopped in every department.
