At first I thought it some of the killing scenes were a bit over the top. But then I remembered all the 1861-65 War between the States photos I have seen, what you read about in the rest of the world, and realized the depictions were not that far off. After seeing this movie “What kind of American are you?” became an existential question that we all should ask ourselves and answer honestly. But believing that Americans will not kill Americans is a delusion. And if nothing else, whatever our affiliation, when we are tempted to seek comfort in the mindless repetition of political slogans, this movie points out the consequences of playing with matches at a gas station.
