A beautiful and compact art book, which is also an original poem written by the author-artist. The poem is, in fact, a paean written to Pang's father, heartfelt and raw, as richly saturated as the gorgeous artworks that illustrate each page. Ranging from figurative to abstract, each page is its own world, at times exploding into light and sometimes descending into thickly-hued depths. Shaded pastels alternate with fiery hot pinks; variety is constant, intensity pervades, words enfolded in brushstrokes melt and pop by turns. Incredible richness in a small package!
