let’s put it this way: everyone that is giving this movie a five star rating right now would’ve found Massimo to be creepy, repulsive, abusive, manipulative, a criminal, and absolutely insane if he was played by a less attractive actor. bc the actor/character is hot, it’s okay. otherwise, it would’ve been a story about kidnapping, sexual assault, and stockholm syndrome
