A reminiscent into Rajini of the 90s...he has proved yet again that age is just a number ...70 is the new 40's..the story is nothing new, the good overrides the bad and takes it for a toss...and when Rajini does the toss it cannot be anything but scintillating..mass entry, stylish move, emotional moments,and of course as always the very brave guy stutters before a beautiful damsel..the romanntic interludes with Nayanthara..just meant to be a relaxant could have been done differently...i couldn't accept a widower and dad of a grown up girl trying to romance a young spinster....Sunil Shetty the antagonist has done a noticeable job with great effort, which our Raghuvaran did at the snap of a finger in Badshah...there are many cute Rajini moments strewn all through ....and if u r whining about being tired or worn out ..time to buckle up for thalaivar has challenged all, yet again with his performance...Anirudh scores as a thalaivar fan with music just suited for Rajini..a mass entertainer which is a bit damp as a Rajini mass..
