It wasn't a perfect movie but it blows the other two out of the water, and was a nice bookend to the saga. Don't listen to those that instantly flag it as dreadful. For some reason it's become fashionable to hate on Star Wars, until they can meme something as redundant as a means to sell toys on the new Mandalorian show.
The visuals were great, the music was great, the characters all had enough time to shine and interact with each other, and Abrams went beyond merely exploiting nostalgia. He crafted a well paced story that tugs on all emotion.
