Well at least my girlfriend paid for the tickets. Mixing inaccurate history, casting the Church rather than King John as the power behind the Sheriff and dispensing with Sherwood Forest entirely, was... brave. Mediocre acting, an Irish Marion, a black/Arab Little John mentor, and an absence of merry men, not to mention a plot, just made the whole thing a confusion of style, substance, and loud bangs. At least the Kevin Costner version had an appropriate use of the word "bollocks" in it. Sadly this one IS bollocks....
