Everything I found wrong with the book/ movie
I personally think that with how the tucks live forever has a lot of options for an amazing book/film, but I think they had chosen one of the ideas on the bad side of the spectrum out of the amazing options they could have actually had, for example they live in the middle of a forest, which no one knows about, then a girl discovers the magic spring and one of the tucks drinking from it, so if they wanted to keep the secret then they could have
A: Have showed her another place for drinking or another spring
B: say that the water isnโt good for you and just say that you were washing your face. Because the worst thing they could have done was kidnap her because fo the amount of attention it would have brought, because of the fosters money and power, making a search party looking for the girl would have brought a lot of attention, since they would eventually find her with the tucks unless they return her in time before they find them, but they found her with the tucks would have been forced to leave everything behind at tree gap because it would be essential to hide their identity so people donโt recognize them.
Why play a music box near people?
At first people would have not thought much of it but eventually someone would remember the tune and investigate and eventually find them making a lot of attention.
How the water works
First of all water does not go everywhere through your body, and also the water would go into the blood stream but that doesnโt go everywhere as well, it just goes through your veins into the key parts of your body. Meaning parts of your body would not be protected, such as your bones, the cornea because that is the only place that doesnโt actually receive blood, plus also your skin wouldnโt be immortal because of the way the blood flows.
Another person also had the theory that it just acted as a shield around your body, but then that would mean that your heart and other parts of your body such as your stomach would die, because they would not be immortal, this would also mean that since your skin is the same, that would mean you would be in severe pain due to your bones growing while your body isnโt.
Also would that mean that you could never grow muscles or anything because of how you never change? Because if thatโs so then that would mean that the older of the 2 sons would most likely not have been able to been a blacksmith because it requires immense strength to be able to hammer the metal, meaning his muscles would have had to grow, because before he didnโt really do any job that required the strength.
Also since the water and tree would have been there since the start of time then there would be prehistoric animals that would have drank from it at some point so why would there be no animals or dinosaurs still alive.
Also if the tree would have been the same and would have not allowed any change, then how did the tucks carve a T in it if it would have not been able to change?
Emotion:
The way that emotion is shown in the book is by describing it and also the way that Winnie eventually opens up to the tucks and at first she thought she was getting kidnapped and thought they were terrible people, but by the end of the day she considers them friends of hers, showing the emotion gradually growing from fear and anger to happiness. By the end I reckon most of the people in the story are stressed or relieved, because of how at the end the fosters find their child relieving all of the stress they would have had piled up, and then the tucks are the opposite because of how they now they are stressed because of how Mae is in prison and before they were calm.
Also at the start angus is really depressed, as a matter of fact he still is, Jesse is sad at the end otherwise at the start he was really happy, and at the end of the book angus feels sad as well because he discovers Winnies gravestone
I know i have thought about this really logically, but this is all just my opinon
