Firstly would say that, when you watch the trailer before the movie, you probably get to know the entire movie. What makes you curious is how to stop the game - Truth or Dare.
The actual way for that, that is the suspense behind the game for not worth it. It felt like it was a bit lame and illogical, maybe! Spoiler alert but the old woman just summoned the demon and the inappropriate sacrifice didn't make sense. And unlike this group, why didn't the earlier group tried to end the game? And because I've seen a lot of horror, most of 'em said that demons only possesses living things and not something abiotic or non living. And also the truth which Olivia was afraid of didn't sum up well. There should've been more. Something really shocking.
I totally loved the concept of the game and the way they pictured it. And I also liked the new rule, that after two truths you have to choose dare.
Now, if there's going to be a sequel, Actress Lucy Hale should act out again and they must try to find a logic behind the game being played under electronic devices too and they must find an unusual way to stop the game, while playing it on more dangerous levels. Like it must be really horrifying.
Other than that, I'd say go ahead and watch the movie and I assure you that it is not scary enough.
