The movie is so Deepti Naval. Intriguing combination of raw emotions, hard edges but a soft and live filled core.
The movie starts quite predictably when Debu is kicked out his house and is taken in by Koirala. From then on it takes you on a journey into humanity with powerful performances from all the actors - especially the handicapped child.
Naval has treated homosexuality, prostitution and disability with tenderness and respect but neither denigrating or giving it cliched treatment.
I would recommend it strongly
