Honestly, the film got me from the first beginning, when she was cooking while he was attempting to turn the ordinary gest into an erotic one. The ups and downs of the fight led us to an intense play with sentiments and words to express it. It's not often that you see people digging into their sentiments to reveal grey zones of themselves; even more, showing the way you really feel about the person with whom you share your life and love. The film is daring in either displaying dramas and dark content in a lightening way. The best part of the film for me is that they are fighting ( a real classic sex war), trying to cope with the violent gestures and words, not to destroy them as a couple, but trying to find a way through the open would, not masking them, neither throwing all the dust under the carpet. Besides the many layers of the film, one should be highlighted: how difficult is to be thankful to the closest ones when you are immersed in a creative ego. The lighting, point of view, and photography (besides the wonderful acting performances) are all great. It reminds us how cinematographic language can be poetic, intriguing, and intimate, very different than the false intimacy displayed in TV shows like the Big Brother type.
