It was a pretty good movie. It's s pretty interesting that he never tried to comply with the officer, which probably would have worked out better in the end. (You can always contest in court after the matter, it's not a good idea to try to prove you're right and they are wrong during a confrontation).
It was really interesting when he changed his attitude and spoke with the officer and they found commonalities in their lives as well as things that they couldn't agree on.
I'm not a big fan of painting a picture that this is how some police think. If a cop is racist, he should be relieved of his duties. Peacefully protest, raise your concerns, and have an open dialogue... these are the things that will get you a lot further in communicating concerns.
