A potentially good film ruined by the overindulgence of Martin Scorcese.
There was no plot or drama.
The story was diluted by the length of time it took to tell.
The casting was not good. De Niro's character would have been better played by someone else, we've seen all his moves before and there was nothing new here.
The main couple had no chemistry and would be more appropriately called dumb and dumber.
All tied up at the end without a hint of drama, surprise or intrigue.
And the native Americans are basically extras, they're not even secondary characters.
But most of all it's 2 hours too long.
