Scenery was beautiful but very divisive film portraying most of the white male characters whether educated or not being down right evil. They used Christian music in the film at times which deeply contrasted with the evil that was happening with and around the main character. The Good Shepherd is lacking here. God’s Country really should have been called Devil’s playground.

Very painful to watch. Dreadful script. We thought to watch it even after reading the bad ratings. Spoiler alert: The hero Jack (Bruce’s character) sends a female civilian (who is being pursued by the bad cops) to go back into a dangerous situation to get evidence from a camera she dropped. Meanwhile the hero Jack then says he can get his phone from the cabin to alert authorities while this is happening. I think Jack was going back to the cabin to have a senior nap. We had to switch it off at this point. We had rented it from Apple TV. Probably cannot get a refund.

Just one long running tired joke at the expense of the beautiful writings of Charles Dickens. This version is shallow, typical Hollywood rubbish thin on substance. If you do not read the books of Dickens watch the BBC productions which have more depth.

My husband and I love this show so much. The British are so good at crime/ drama shows. Like fine wine it gets only better as the characters develop in a deeper way with their own stories. It is definitely worth watching!
