Sad to see so many complainers, I thought is was awesome! Claes Bang was simply amazing. I loved the call-backs to Hammer horror, the BBC's 1977 Dracula with Louis Jourdin and '79 Drac with Frank Langella, plus others. Loved the new innovations, too, such as Dracula absorbing knowledge, personalities and fears from his vics. Very funny, too, and frequently creepy. It kind of makes a nice, slick companion to What We Do in the Shadows; here's hoping we'll see Claes on the Vampire Council at some point.
I also loved how each episode was a self-contained movie for a trilogy of horror, which I'll dub:
1. Dracula's Castle
2. Voyage of the Damned
3. Dracula 2020 AD
