I think the format is flawed. I think Ellen Fanning is a poor presenter / anchor for the show. The other presenters are very professional. Ellen has an ‘ingratiating’ style and frequently implores the audience to her view by saying “right” at the end of a statement. This treats the audience as idiots and implies strongly that Fanning does not have a clue about audience dynamics. I think this show has potential - but the current format, its obsession with Sydney panelists and Ellen Fanning’s extremely irritating style mean It is never likely to achieve that potential. No longer watching it.
