BALA is an excellent film. Direction, script, story, dialogues, music deserve applause. Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushman Khurana, Saurabh Shukla, and the rest of the actors have played their part well. The film has an important theme and the execution is beautifully achieved without sermonizing. It's interesting, attention grabbing and entertaining. The Shukla family portrayal is very realistic. Pednekar's Mausi's acting is very good. The barber boy, Ayushman's brother deserve appreciation. This is a A Grade film about physical looks.

The film is interesting and engages your attention till the end. It's a journey of a lone man who faces barbarism, brutality but doesn't give up his mission to avenge the death of his father. Saif's body language, make up, eye expression reflect his angst and anger. It stands for the principle of cause and effect. The evil doer never goes scot-free which is very true. The story line, cinematography, make up, period costume, screen play, dialogues deserve applause. Worth watching. I give it four and a half stars.

I wonder why there is so much criticism of Kabir Singh. Cinema is Art. It's silly to say the character is violent, a misogynist.........An actor plays the role of a person which is writer's creation. Such a protagonist can be a flawed person --can be a pervert, over-ambitious, over-suspicious etc.etc.like Shakespearean characters. It's silly to debate why such characters exist in fiction or in real life. It's stupid to blame the actor why he played a particular character. It's really insane to argue why an actor chose to play so and so role. Instead of appreciating the story line and the acting, it's foolish to brand the role as "moral" or "immoral". This is what Athony Burges wrote about his book, A Clockwork Orange', "I should have myself be glad to disown it (the book)...... but this is not permitted. I receive mail from students who try to write theses about it or requests from.........dramaturges to turn it into a sort of Noh play.......while other works of mine that I value more bite the dust." Alex, the main Protagonist of the book, was extremely violent. Stanley Kubrick made a film based on the novel.I give the film ****

Tumbbad is a stunning film. The filming, cinematography is amazing. The story line is extraordinary. All the actors have played their role well. Soham Shah has played his role very well. The horror scenes are impressive. The continuous rain, the gray fort, hungry dadi and the greedy characters are portrayed well enough to create evil atmosphere. The film is a must watch.

Film Patakha has an unusual story of two quarrelsome sisters. Only Vishal Bhardwaj is capable of making an extraordinary film based on an ordinary rustic tale. It is fun watching two siblings picking up fights on petty things and Sunil Grover adding fuel to the fire. All have acted well. But the main credit goes to the Director who has successfully made a film on a very mundane subject. Thanks to his fantastic vision, talent, skills and creativity.

Andhadhun is a soul stirring film. A blind man sees the reality of ruthless people and the world around him. Tabu's performance is excellent. Ayushman Khurana's acting is superb. The music is spell-bounding. Cogratulations! Sri Ram Raghvan. Must Watch.

It is an outstanding film on man woman relationship, false sense of morality, institution of marriage. A man who is not a good earner has no right to love a woman. Love without marriage is a stigma for girl's family. All this chu......ti messes up the passionate love of Rumi and Vicky. The film has an open ending suggestive of loving two persons at a time. Marriage limits the freedom of a person. Marriage makes one possessive and jealous. Is marriage a social evil? Vicky Kaushal's acting is superb. Abhishek Bachhan's acting is mature. His body language, facial expression communicate a lot. Don't miss the film.

BGMC has a good social message. Theme, filming, star cast is good. Devendu Sharma's acting is excellent. The first half of the film is disappointing. It is all noise, loud, waste of good actors. The Director wasted the acting talent of good cast. The latter half is good. Shahid Kapoor acted very well. His dialogue delivery in the latter half is good. Had the director focused on the subject in the first half, the film could have been quite impressive. It is the cast of the film which has saved the film.

The film story is fresh; the movie is entertaining, comic and interesting. Rajkumar Rao's performance is brilliant and natural. Shradda Kapoor has played her part well. The cinematography is fantastic. The atmosphere created in the film goes well with its genre. The narrow streets, darkness and the old monument enhances the horror element. Mystery continues till the end. To sum up it has all -- suspense, horror, humor, fine actors, uncommon story, good item number. Go for it. Enjoy.

If u are fond of watching unrealistic stunts which done in real life, death is sure, please go for it. Acting, direction background music is good.
