Boring. Contrast it with Daredevil where the story has a streamline carrying on the patterns of Arrow etc, the story oscillates between Ironfist and the boardroom/dojo and Harold's suite. What makes it all the more boring is that there is no uniformity to action. Neither the action comes thick and fast but in the last 3 episodes. Other than that there are glowing embers of action which fail to generate enough excitement around the character.
Ironfist is used mostly as Genie in a bottle and puts the real-life students and practitioners of Chi pulling their hairs.
One can argue it is a fictional show yet there is not much exploration been done around the character when compared to the screenplay of Daredevil character whose super sense has been explained to more or less perfection where the audience can connect and make some sense out of it.
The screenplay of Ironfist looks, on the other hand, not just ordinary but making the viewers wish that there could be an authenticity and realism as close to something like YipMan and not the repetition of flying kicks from standing position. Nothing wrong with the actor Finn Jones after all he is not responsible for screenplay and action scenes.
Overall the slowness of the progress in the story creates many a dull moment to not put it in a rewatchable series category.
