I enjoyed this show. It's a silly premise and the characters are purposefully unlikeable but there is a redemption arc. It's an easy watch and a quick binge. I hope there's a season 2 so I can find out what happens!

I've watched season one probably three times since it aired in 2020, and I just watched season 2, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The show has romance, lots of sex, drama, friendship, family, comedy, and a touch of mystery. The acting is wonderful, and wow are the actors attractive. Although I do wish we got some cameos of the Duke in season 2. The production is also phenomenal - the costumes, scenery, lighting, and most importantly, the instrumentals of modern songs they play throughout. Obsessed! I'm not much for period pieces but with this, I was hooked from the start. Definitely recommend if you haven't seen it. It's very different from other Shondaland shows but it's one of her best. Very much looking forward to the rest of the series.

As someone who has never gravitated towards superhero content, I can emphatically recommend this show. It is set in a dystopian future where super heros are essentially celebrities employed by a big corporation. You see the effects of mixing superheros with capitalism, fame & greed. There's tons of action, drama, crime, mystery, and even romance. It's comedic but the humor can be dark. It can definitely be violent and a bit gory at times so be warned. While it is a superhero show, it is definitely not for children. I would say the first season is outstanding, but the second, while still very enjoyable, was not quite as good as the first. Still, I can't wait for season 3. Like I said, it's definitely worth the watch - even if superheros are not really your thing.

I enjoyed the show. Admittedly I think it is hurt by the inevitable comparisons to the original. Its really much less comedy and more just a rom-com/lighthearted dramedy of a group of millenials struggling in NY. I also think the show gets better as it goes. While I enjoyed the premiere and really loved their spin on the HIMYM premise, the next few episodes werent as great, but it picked up again later in the season. While it's not as good as HIMYM, I looked forward to watching every episode and it's an easy binge. I think if you didn't have the comparison of the original, the rating would be much higher. I was certainly expecting much more comedy, and the characters arent as quirky as in the original. You don't have Barney's outlandish antics or Marshall and Ted acting like goofballs all the time. You don't have laugh out loud moments, just some funny lines thrown in here and there. It also lacks the history between the characters that is so great in HIMYM as many of these characters meet for the 1st time in episode one. I think HIMYF is much more relatable than the original, maybe to it's detriment. This version focused much more on the love aspect, the typical millenial experience, and the struggles of being in your 20s. While I think the show could be better and I wish it had more comedy, I don't think it deserves the terrible rating it has. In all honesty, I would probably have rated it 4 stars, but I wanted to up the average because I truly don't believe it deserves this rating. All in all, I think it's worth the watch, but don't expect it to be at the same level as the original.

I almost didn't watch this because the critic's reviews weren't great, but the revival was everything that I loved about the original series. The mystery, the drama, the twists, and turns. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just finished it and now I want to go and rewatch the original series.

I'm not one to rewatch comedies from start to finish, but there are a few that I've watched all the way through multiple times and this is one of them. All of the four main roommates are hysterical on their own and together, they are a match made in heaven. I literally laugh out loud every episode, and the show is great all the way through the finale unlike most shows which tend to drop off towards the end. The finale of New Girl is one of the best comedy finales I've seen. If you haven't seen it, please go binge it on Netflix. You won't regret it.

Okay so this show is weird. Its supposed to be a parody of those women-led thrillers. It was billed as being like Gone Girl or Girl on the Train mixed with American Scandal or Documentary Now. It sounds like such a great idea but the execution was awful. The problem is that if I didn't know it was supposed to be a parody, I would have no idea. For almost the entire season, it seems like just a regular thriller but for the story of one of the deaths which is kind of out there, the fact that the handyman was always weirdly fixing the mailbox and the main character's fear of rain. I don't think the show took things far enough to be a parody. Its not until the end of the second to last episode where things start to get WEIRD. Even still, it did not feel like a parody - just like a semi-decent thriller that went absolutely wacky at the end. I'm not even sure how to explain it but this was nothing like American Vandal or Documentary Now. There wasn't a speck of comedy in the show. I'm shocked Kristin Bell would be involved in this. I'm giving it 2 stars bc I did enjoy the first several episodes, but the last episode and a half was just so outrageously stupid that it ruined the whole show. Based on the finale, it seems like they are leaving it open to another season but I can't imagine that would happen. Very disappointing as the premise is cool but they did a terrible job with it.

I was devastated when Netflix cancelled this show. It was one of my favorites. It is unlike any time travel show I have ever seen. With it's unique premise, amazing cast of characters, high stakes drama, moments of comedic relief, and action, it was everything I look for in a show. The show is about a group of time travelers who are from a grave and dreary future. They are on a mission to change the past in order to save their future. What sets this show apart is that the travelers inhabit bodies that were about to die and take over their lives while trying to save the world. Our travelers lead double lives while going on frequent missions they are tasked with from their communications from the future. The problem is, the lives they inhabit are not what they thought. You've got one who ends up is in a disabled body and has to deal with social workers and doctors who are shocked by her sudden recovery. You've got a really old man inhabiting the life of a teenager with a curfew, homework, and a high school girlfriend. You've got one who is in the body of an addict and has to deal with withdrawals and sketchy friends while trying to save the world. And you've got a married FBI agent who has to keep his secret activities from his wife and coworkers. As if that's not hard enough, they also have to deal with other travelers who are part of a faction that is trying to sabotage the mission and make changes of their own. The show is amazing. And even though it got cancelled,I still highly recommend.

This show is unlike anything else I've ever watched. It has everything you'd want in a show. Drama, romance, amazing character development, action, unpredictability and more. I have not watched the last season which I know a lot of viewers were disappointed in, but even with that, I definitely recommend watching the show. The first several seasons are amazing - some of the best television I've seen. I was absolutely hooked from the first episode. The show is about a group of survivors on an international space station who are the last of humanty's survivors after nucleur Armageddon killed civilization on Earth hundeds of years ago. They send 100 teenagers who were in juvie down to earth to see if it's habitable. They have little hope that they'll survive but it's their last shot as the space station is quickly failing. The 100 teenagers have to figure out how to survive until the adults follow, but some of them are not interested in the adults who locked them up coming down to earth so they try to sabotage the mission. Beyond the conflict between themselves, they quickly find out that they are not alone on Earth like they thought. Meanwhile, you also get to see all of the drama and conflict happening on the space station which is also really interesting. The characters are amazing and every season has a new group of survivors that the 100 have to deal with all while trying to keep the peace between themselves. Highly recommend this show. You'll be hooked immediately. The show has LGBTQ representation, a lot of people of color, it not only passes the bechdel test but it shows a lot of badass women in leadership positions.

This is one of the very few shows that I have watched start to finish multiple times. Sure, it's a zombie show but it's completely different from every zombie show you've ever seen. In this show the zombie outbreak flies under the radar for years. Victims are still themselves with some changes to their physical appearance and a craving for brains. But eating someone's brain gives you flashes of their memories and their characteristics. Our main character, Liv, changes career paths and starts to work in a morgue to get access to brains and to solve murders by seeing flashes of the victims memories. Except she's got to keep her new cravings and the cause of her behavioral changes from her co-workers, family, friends, and her ex-fiance whom she very suddenly broke up when she got infected. There are big bads in every season, a murder mystery every episode, and new characteristics for Liv to adopt after she eats a victim's brain. The show is a somewhat comedic take on a zombie outbreak but it still has plenty of drama, romance, character development, and action. It also doesn't have all the gore that most zombie shows have, which I appreciated. Eventually more ppl close to Liv discover her secret, but it happens at the perfect pace. The cast of characters are just amazing and they all deal with the outbreak in different ways and are touched by it in different ways so the reveal never gets old. The character development is top notch and some of the big bads have chances for redemption. As more ppl become infected, things start to get even more interesting. As the show progresses, you see zombie entrepreneurship, mad scientists, zombie military, the discovery of the outbreak and the response of the US government. The show kept me hooked from the pilot to the finale and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for their next show to binge.
