This is in response to Tonight's Inside Edition Story (1/23/ 21) That featured Vice President Kamala Harris's Heritage and Family Affiliation. The story only featured the South Asian side of her Race. I'm sure you know, as does everyone else, that she is of Both Black and South Asian Descent.As A Black Woman myself, I was left wondering why would Inside Edition only feature half of her heritage?Just her Asian Side? I'm sure she has relatives on her Black side that deserves recognition as well. as VP Kamala Harris Identifies with both sides of her racial heritage. If you are going to highlight her racial heritage, then include her Black Jamaican side as well in your story, do not leave out her Black side as fairness to both sides. Thank You.
