This movie was full of sound and light and signified nothing. The cast was too large, the growth in previous movies were ignored, and the knowledge that the next movie is going to retcon everything makes this movie an exercise in futility. I was honestly bored throughout this movie. There were no stakes, there was no growth, and there were plot holes large enough to fit a truck through. I am a fan of almost all of the other MCU movies, and while I have been kind of meh on some of them (Thor: The Dark World), I was genuinely disappointed in this one and very, very glad that I did not waste money on it when it was in the theatres.
