I saw this show a couple of years after it was released. I found it to be a compelling drama because I had been a Canadian Peacekeeper on three missions and never had to encounter anything like these troops had to face. Although it was fiction it was based on actions that did occur in Croatia - Serbia. I was pleased to see that the depiction of the troops was quite accurate down to wearing uniforms correctly. The acting by Jeremy Ratchford, Colm Meaney, Lolita Davidovich as well as the rest of the cast was very good. Canada has a strong military history, but because we are not large like the USA and UK the stories of our soldiers, sailors and airmen are rarely told. Fortunately the 1968 movie "The Devil's Brigade" was an excellent depiction of our army personnel.
