If you are planning to watch this stupid movie, be ready to claim a refund with a penalty from Dharma Productions. Pathetic piece of work from all the actors. Even if they had shown a love story between Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, then it would have saved the movie. Ratings: 1/5

Although movie was 2.15 hours long, it was not long enough to capture all the aspects of the great personality Bal Thackeray Saheb. The movie revolves around how he became the most influential person in Maharashtra from a cartoonist of a press journal. The plot although justified his charismatic character but failed in terms of production value. You can see glimpse of green screen in the movie which is little awkward for the viewer (only if you noticed it). In term of acting, Nawazuddin and Amrita has done amazing job. Nawaz was the perfect fit for this 'controversial' biopic. He completely justified Bala Saheb. Although, I have never seen Bala Saheb in real life but now I can say that he might be the same as portrayed in the film. On the other hand, Amrita fully justified the role of Bala Saheb's wife. She was amazing and had good screen time in the film. As Sanjay Raut couldn't fit Bala Saheb's whole life into one film, you will see a 'To be Continued' message at the end of the movie. My Ratings: 3.5/5 Closing remark: Bollywood should make more movies on Indian political history. Kudos to the team of film Thackeray.
