After working in the film industry for the past four decades I, Dr. William Cage find it appalling that so many people would believe this movie to be nothing more than perfection. As someone Who has experienced a soul transference secondhand I find it to be Unequivocably accurate as the way it is portrayed in this film. Mr. cage is shown to be A stalwart guide in this confusing and frightening world. (Much like my childhood…but that’s a story for another day) Watch, as the janitor (Mr. Cage‘s character) guides this cast of young and diverse thespians throughout the trials and tribulations sent to them by God herself. This movie confronts themes of the commodification of Celebratory childhood elation in late stage capitalism. With the representation of the corporation of Charles entertainment cheese being brought to the forefront of viewers through willy’s wonderland, it is more evident now than ever that capitalism has taken over our children’s youths. Nicolas Cage‘s character, by not speaking throughout the entire movie continues to prove to everyone that silence is more powerful than words, and said silence represents the complacency of our society towards the inherent degradation of ourselves. To close, I would have to say that this movie represents the worst of us, but also the best of what we can be. Without Nicolas Cage‘s performance in this masterpiece we would be no more than cavemen compared to how we are now. This movie is the pinnacle of artistic expression and should be studied for centuries to come.
