My sisters wanted to watch this one day, so I decided to watch it with them. I was expecting it to be something like Wreck-It Ralph or whatever, but I was wrong.
I'm pretty sure the producers of this movie wanted it to be "trendy," but it came out as tacky and immature. I mean, a kid's world doesn't revolve around his/her phone! We also almost never talk like how everyone did in the movie.
The way every app is portrayed is just awful. And why are the students' sentences pretty much only made up of emojis? No one I know talks like that.
The characters are just stereotypes. The way that most of them can only feel one emotion is just weird. One scene at the beginning shows that the laughing emoji broke a leg, but thought it was hilarious.
"I can see the bone!" I found this to be just, i dont even know what word to say. Horrifying? Depressing?
This movie mashes together outdated slang, awkward poop jokes, stereotypes, and the overuse of the moral "Be who you want to be."
None of the characters are relatable, and neither are the challenges they face. I really wouldn't recommend this.
Characters- 0/10 (I don't like the characters)
Story/Plot- 0/10 (I think the plot is boring)
Animation- 0/10 (I disliked the animation)
