This Trilogy was kinda doomed from the start with no oversight. You had several different writers and 2 directors that wanted to do so many things. Rise of Skywalker spends so much of its energy "course correcting" from The Last Jedi that it doesn't have enough left to tell a well-paced coherent story of its own. Instead, it relies on rapid-fire exposition and maguffins to try to make a somewhat satisfying ending. It all falls falt, but at least it wasn't boring. If you can turn off the critical thinking part of your brain you may be able to enjoy this movie, but as an ender to a trilogy or in this case a nonology it fails.
