About as hollow, soulless and without character as you can expect from a money grab sequel nobody asked for. Had some SMALL moments but nothing that holds it anywhere near the original. The animation design was sterile all the way through and no character development. You'd expect some kind of heart to be put into this movie but you're left wondering: what was the point? The original humor is all but missing, probably to allure the US audience.

Honestly, I watched this movie when it came out and forgot about it. I came back to it after rewatching the first two movies. It's decent, not anywhere near as good as the first 2...but will Poulter's character, I swear to God, everytime he was on screen, me and my girlfriend were bursting into uncontrollable laughter. I can only hope it didn't ruin his childhood.

Here's the neil druckmann that made me reluctant to watch the show in the first place. Just to be clear, I couldn't care less if he gave them a backstory in the show, where they were gay, it was a blank page in the game that could have been materialized in any way druckmann wanted, so it's fair. But it's classic druckmann "replacing it with something better" I'd have rather seen the backstory cut down and had it not deviate from the original story, there have been plenty of things cut from the show that I've passed off because it's been done so well but this has purely been done to make people who actually love the first game feel comfortable when they deviate hard from the story. I have little hope he won't pull a massive storyline change again. Thanks neil!

Plot holes, tense moments that have no outcomes (Pihu setting the stove on fire). It made me more angry than anxious watching it at how dumbed down it is.
