**Spoiler warning** My family and I watched the movie, (no, we did not watch the original before this one because it is it's own movie) and my little girl loved it. It has a great message and loads of comedy that made her laugh. I do not understand why people keep complaining about it not being a direct copy or straying from the story. Yes Jock is a girl, the wife is not white, the cats aren't Siamese, and a few others things. But, who cares. People are always gonna find something to complain about. Just enjoy the movie for what it is, a heart felt story about a dog who feels she is getting replaced by the baby, and the stray finding a home in the end. And, if you can't watch for the changes, there is still the original.
