Watching it from the perspective of imagining the complicated bridge between humanity and artificial intelligence playing with emotion, purpose, self awareness, and identity... I found the film relatively enjoyable yet it fell flat in some areas. While the whole film began to become rather predictable towards the second half, it was still fun to watch the protagonist teach this hungry-for-knowledge deadly AI house keeper about humanity while simultaneously using it to survive and find a way out. Cheap entrainment, yes, same old story, sure, but still entertaining not-the-less. If you got nothing better to do and you enjoy Robo/Posthuman/AI/Transhuman genres... You might like it, but it doesn't seem to have anything new to add to the table as the film stands out as more of a thriller than your typical AI movie. Really, it's as if Ex-Machina got flipped on it's head with some similar tropes, for another film about how AI and humanity had to work together to survive. Best parts were watching the crazy looking killing machine named Ares, cool. Nice touch. Fits right in with the name TAU. All this Greek naming of household appliances!? I liked it, meh 3/5
