In Red Notice, Gal Gadot was gorgeous as usual , Ryan Reynolds was his usual wise cracking self and the Rock was his charismatic self. But the storyline was left much to be desired with no background on the characters and the story about looking for lost treasures has been done many times before. The FBI agent character was placed to fill in the gaps making her mostly unmemorable, also making the FBI look like fools being strung around by the 3 main characters. She wasn't depicted to be a strong agent hell-bend on catching the 3 characters. The action was not exciting nor creative at all, there is no central villain in the movie except for this arms dealer who looks menacing but was a caricature of a typical villain. I was expecting action scenes to be more violent rather than similar to a watered down Disney flick. IMO, The Rock should consider stop making PG 13 stuff and make more R rated action movies which are more believable to audiences instead of making the typical "Disney" like action flicks. That's why I am looking forward to Black Adam Movie.. Overall I give this film 3 out of 10 (Action) 3 out of 10 (Storyline) 6 out of 10 (Cast's Chemistry) In conclusion , this average movie can be improved and the characters should be more fleshed out. It's not the worst movie I ever saw but it needs a better sequel If they decide to make another. Disappointing because of all the advertising , was expecting more.. You can't please everyone.
