I can forgive when it comes to alternative history, but the story needs to be compelling and have an internal consistency. Gladiator II lacked heavily in both. I don't know what happened to Ridley Scott but this was not a good movie. Everything that made Gladiator a decent movie was absent here in this sequel. The plot didn't make sense, the character motivations were confusing, the whole story was a cash grab on Gladiator fans. What a shame.

I know this film is a book adaptation and it can't fully recreate the nuance or poetry of the original source but I think it tries. The screenplay was decent and while some of the aspects of Vichy France aren't well played out (feels like what someone thinks war should look like rather than having researched it) the overall work was endearing enough. I'm usually a harsh critic of Netflix and their fast food style productions but this was enjoyable. Netflix could have taken its time with this series, and allowed for more fleshed out character development. It would have allowed for a few more episodes but I digress. Worth the watch if you're looking for a quick binge.

The villains are too stupid to exist. The plot is just so bare bones dumb. It's just violence porn. Not much to say about this movie. It's just Liam Neeson moving from minor boss to minor boss until he fights the big boss. Movies used to influence video game design, now it's video game design influencing movies.

What a goofy movie. You trying to tell me that Esther can kill a grown man with incredible ease but a woman in high heels is gonna give her a run for her money? Just goes to show that some movie directors approach film like they do video games. Named characters have larger health bars than no-name NPC's.

My favorite episode had to be the one with the weird meteorite. It really summed up the entire series and the audience. Everyone got high, had their mind blown apart, and then was left so confused at the end. Truly some galaxy brain stuff going on here.

I'll give A Quiet Place this, the film was well done. The movie ruined itself for me when the daughter and mom killed the monster. As soon as she killed one with some buckshot I knew the whole premise was dumb. You're telling me that these intergalactic super invaders with superhearing, who have withstood armor piercing rounds, missles, and Detroit, can't stand a little tinnitus?

Some good old disingenuous disinformation. Don't watch this show. They manage to scrounge up some "professionals" who want to try to convince you that Cleopatra, a Greek incest child, was Black. This movement needs to stop. It's just not true and flies in the face of long established research and archeological evidence. Netflix needs to stop this disinformation publishing.

I don't know what's up with Netflix producing conspiracy theory shows as of late, but it's getting out of hand. First Ancient Apocalypse and their wack job Graham Hancock and now this. Netflix cares more about making money and feeding the hungry maw of new content that facts can just be damned. They directly contribute to science denialism and misinformation by platforming crazy people. Good job Netflix. Hope the end of Human civilization is worth the money.

It never gave itself time to develope a scene at all. It felt rushed and contrived the whole way through. It's sad to see Star Wars close on such a low note.
