It was OK but not brilliant I think the BBC missed a chance to make a really good vision of the war of the worlds I do think they got carried away with changing the story to fit in the female lead I understand they wanted to update H G Wells book but they went a bit far and the last episode looked rushed is not the whole story about the journalist looking for his wife you only have to look at Jeff Wayne's version to see how to do it correct I don't think any one will be talking about your version in one years times. And did they leave it open for another series is that why they rushed the last episode?
