No Thumb rating....
Loved Two & a Half Men, The Komisky Method and tolerated Big Bang Theory (at least until the Sheldon character became ridiculously awful in later seasons) & even other shows he has written/produced, this one is far from his best work and while its fair at times, its clearly a vehicle to keep the great Billy Gardell on TV until he can find something better.
Lorre's latest show finds its heart in places you wouldn't expect, Bob is likable and that's what makes this unique sitcom work.
Standouts include Vernee Watson who is great (as a sarcastic comic) in everything she does and the incredible facial expressions and comments of her Auntie Shola Adewusi. Its groundbreaking in crossing cultural lines and that's what sets it apart. Not sure how long Chuck Lorre can keep this fresh but he's got the chops to make it sustainable.
