This book is a 5/5 to me. I finished this book in one sitting, it’s so beautifully written. I was thinking it was about a love triangle about Atlas and Ryle but I realized the story is more then just the small romance. yes, there is romance ,but is how the romance got her into the conflict with ryle. Idk if that makes sense but for me the book is to show about abuse. How your love one can abuse you but you wouldn’t leave them because you love them. Love makes you do many things and as Lilly mom said you have to be bold and brave. I just don’t know how to explain how I feel after reading this book. I stopped caring for the romance while reading and started caring about what would be her solution with the abuse. Was she going to stay with him or leave him. Reading her thoughts and how her mind was working during her struggle just opened my eyes. Usually when people see someone abusing their wife or partner you think “ why didn’t she just leave him” this book opened my eyes that it’s not easy. I think the authors purpose was to give up a idea of what women who went through abuse. To not assume that the women are stupid for staying with them, it’s not that simple when they are the one you love. This is just my opinions and thoughts. I really recommended this book. I’ve been having it in my reading list and finally decided to read it and I don’t regret staying up until 3am finishing it. I really enjoy the epilogue, it made my heart happy knowing she was finally with the person she never stopped loving and who’s been waiting for her. I would really enjoy a book with Ryle or Atlas perspective.
