Mostly realistic TV series centering around an infantry squad during WWII and their interactions with the enemy, civilians, and each other. Gave many of us Boomers some idea of what many of our parents might have experienced. I feel the one thing that the series had done was to provide the viewer some notion of what conflict; such as war, has upon the lives of those partisapants who lived through it.
