I watched this movie, at first thinking it was formulaic. Only I was proven wrong, not only by the skill set of the actors involved, but also the director’s complete comprehension of what it’s like to be a member of the older generation. I usually don’t watch a movie two times but Ms. Danner brings both a real sense of self, and you truly believe her angst as life goes by her like a freight train.
