Alita: Battle Angel is a great movie. Definitely adding it to my collection when it comes out. I enjoyed it when I was younger and have been hyped ever since I saw the first trailer. This is an adaptation done exceptionally well. I hope this becomes the model for future adaptions and the catalyst for many more. I've already seen it three times. I had to see it opening night. I took my father to see it. I took my daughter to see it. And, my wife wants to see it but will probably wait til we get the DVD. Alita's eyes and expressions are beautiful and complimented by the cyborg theme. I honestly don't think they could have picked a better cast. Everyone comes together so well for a compelling story. There are some creative differences in the live action version but it is done in a way that every difference enhances and/or creates more depth instead of being a distraction(I'd go into more detail about more disappointing adaptations but this isn't a rant).
