This was MGK's last album before my friend Eddie took his own life. We used to listed to this album together alot, as well as some of his older songs as well. At My Best hit me hard again today, even though it's been 4 years, I never would've given up on Eddie! When we met, we were both going through horribly abusive relationships, and we fell in love. We both fell back to our old partners, which ended up killing him, then helped show me to get away. He was my best friend and I will never forget his voice always singing to me and my daughter! Thank you for having such meaningful words in your songs! They have always been very powerful on my heart!
