What a waste of time, they could have made this an edgy series but instead we have an over the top, trying too hard to cover issues that have been done to death. Not being a religious type felt that this ended up being almost completely about Satan and if you are religious, would suggest you skip. Also the main actress seemed pretty bland at best Riverdale got it right why the hell didnt they stick to the same wining formula? From the throw back to 70’s intro, which is supposed to be spooky, but actually comes across as corny to the dragging on and on of Sabrina’s “dark baptism” had me missing the ridiculous Disney remake with a talking hair piece known as Salem. I am sad to say that I am hoping the idea of a season 2 is dropped kicked into the nearest trash can.
