The first book that made me cry in a really long time. I can relate to Michelle's story so much on a personal level for growing up with an over bearing but dedicated and all consuming love from an Asian mother. H mart is my favorite grocery chain in the States, and the truthful, raw and honest narrative by the author brought out the humility in being a daughter and being a human in me.
