Weird serial. In an era which boasts of progressive women's rights ideals being sought, this serial drama conveniently brushes the 12-year long indiscretions of the male anti hero under the carpet, and asks the lady of the house to take back her divorce appeal. Insensitive and disgusting. The most jarring portrayal- any lady who can earn her own keep, and is anything other than meek is a vamp. Both female protagonists are over 50, and both have these cute ideas about how it is the primary responsibility of the woman to keep the house together. This is a slap in the face of all those women who undergo verbal and physical violence daily and are punished by society for 'not keeping their house together' Started out as a well meaning, sensitive portrayal of the trials of a housewife, has degenerated into a ghastly k drama with unrealistic twists put in to boost TRPs. The path to hell is paved with good intentions indeed!
