I would have to give this movie a 10/10. Left in tears. I was quite surprised by how abruptly it ended, but truth be told, I did not want see Freddie’s death on screen. The ending was almost like a metaphor of how his life was cut short. The entire audience applauded at the end and no one was in a hurry to leave. I was amazed at how much the cast resembled the actual band members. I only wish the directors included more of his homosexual love story. I found that too brief but only because I am comparing that to the excellent coverage I’ve watched in documentaries. The live aid performance was so well done I was convinced I was actually watching the real band. I’m still moved by the movie the next day (no pun invented).
