Felt different than other Lee Child books. Actually got to the end, turned to my wife and said, "meh." She asked, "it wasn't good?"
It was then that I saw it was coauthored. Not sure if this is the reason, but the whole book just seemed messy, politically stupid, and like it was trying too hard to be current to the times.
I can't remember any other Jack Reacher books I felt this turned off by, or that took me this long to get through. First one I wouldn't recommend.
