This game was probably the best Sonic Boom game out of the rest. It's a shame it was over shadowed by Sonic Forces back in 2017. There are so many challanges, upgrades and collectables that I found myself playing and replaying numerous stages over and over again trying to find new things by exploring the vast assortment of environments. The characters swap between each each other in a snap even when moving so you never have to worry about having to stop to switch characters and ruin the flow. And on top of that, most character-specific areas are optional anyway, so you can always get through most of the stages with out having to switch at all. The air dash is also heavily improved from how it was in shattered crystal, now you don't lose your momentum when air dash in Which makes the game feel much more smoother. If you're in the mood to try a Sonic Boom game, this game is your best bet!
