This was my granddaughter's favorite children's story. We read it so many times the cover fell off!
She is now 21 and a senior at Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in illustration and children's books, receiving top grades.
This was the wonderful story that inspired her. To this day, we quote lines from it.
The illustrations are especially wonderful and the flow of words and meter are totally charming.
