The acting is strong, the characters a bit cliched. It’s preposterous and at the same time scary and disturbing. The movie is MUCH too long, but I did find the flashback style to be effective. It needs a little humor, something to break the tension now and then. And yes, it’s very much like A Quiet Place. I don’t know which concept came first, but one of them definitely stole from the other.
In my book, it gets 2 out of 4 stars.
