Must watch in HOTSTAR A HIDDEN LIFE. I did and am writing this while recovering from the aftermath of watching such an impactful movie A movie in the backdrop of WWII-The Hidden Life moved me to a silent pensive sadness. Oh Why can't miracles happen at such instances!? The movie ends with George Eliot's quote from MIDDLEMARCH Book8, Sunset and Sunrise, Chapter 87( continued)- finale. The growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 after which a long thoughtful silence is the only befitting response.

Visual treat. Good acting . But the movie dragged a bit. Kunal Khemu lived the role of Abdul. Yes Varun Dhawan is emerging as a serious actor. Sunjay Dutt looked good as Balraj Choudhary. The pain on the face of Madhuri Dixit and Sunjay Dutt's was so natural. Aliya Bhatt stole the show.Aditya Roy Kapoor effectively portrayed the role of the dignified Dev Choudhary. Sonakshi Sinha Sinha was not convincing as an ailing wife. On the whole great acting individually but in totality fell short of expectations.

Celebrated Women's Day Watching Badla with two dear friends in Cinepolis Unity One Mall Rohini Delhi. Being a murder mystery, I didn't want to take the risk of being told "Whodunnit". So First Day almost First show Took me back to my College Days Well here is my review. Badla is a treat to those who relish Whodunnits. The story line is gripping. Of course Mr B's IMPRESSIVELY intriguing portrayal of Badal Gupta (?) is spellbinding. You will unravel the reason for the question mark when you watch the movie. Surprise packet is Amrita Singh. Nicely underplayed. Just when you think you have seen it all the story springs a nice surprise on you. Truly inspiring.Immaculate Screenplay adaptation and direction by Sujoy Ghosh . No doubt the originality of the storyline is the highlight of the Movie. Kudos to O. Paulo. MUST WATCH. AMITABH BACHHAN STILL HAS SO MUCH TO GIVE AT 76. Truly inspiring. Rating: 4/5
